Admit It. You had that sinking feeling that match more than once during the last night at Red Bull Arena against the reeling New England Revolution. More than once, the group that was supposed to cure the Red Bulls funk, seemed to cure their own funk against the Red Bulls. Just like Golden, Columbus and Vancouver. That familiar sense of dread that they should have started when the revolution was awarded a penalty kick, again. " But then something strange happened. Shalrie Joseph turned the shot right, but Greg Sutton got a hand on it and parried away. RBA finally released the pent up frustration month, crowd absolutely broke. Finally, I had to cheer about something. Granted, the gods or their blessings football end in the Red Bull arena. Not long after, pressure from Thierry Henry has led to an end in itself which has Red Bulls 1-0. Early in the second half, Henry scored again making it 2-0. Victory seemed at hand, but then again, it seemed that way before, too. New England got one back and that sinking feeling returned again, "They're going to blow." You will remain if you typed your head. The gods were angry with us soccer to forget them after receiving a gift 2-0, was back to making offers, "we are sorry, football gods, please Let's get a third target." A third goal would have been very easy, there should be 30 + painful moments. And then, later in the game, as Red Bull fans leases storage where you thought, "we might just pull it," New England fired home the equalizer. The arena died as the crowd drank at the kool aid and committed ritualistic suicide. But no, the gods willed their final blessing football, offsides. Without goal! Time expired and soon Red Bulls winless streak finally ended their long for the relief of both fan and the group. Red Bull nation had better to take time to their Holy football and thank the gods benevolent football for us finally win.
Things that I thought:
* Thierry Henry does exactly what status the DP will be indicated at this time half of the missing. To take the ball and makes things happen, putting the Group on the shoulders, so to speak. It has certainly helped. Greg Sutton was phenomenal. You have always wanted more from Bouna. To obtain the stable during the spectacular and occasionally anyday often awful. Of course, save for the PK was nothing less than impressive.
* When Medhi Ballouchy loses confidence, he certainly lost confidence. The child just stunk last night. Matt Kassel is a powerful solid player, Backe should be kept on the bench and Kassel Ballouchy field past the first half.
* Luke Rodgers was closed yesterday evening a few shots that had to place, perhaps loss associated
* Night Apparently were Croatian heritage and Croatian crowd had a nice little screen in the upper deck in the first half
* Anyone who had a Canadian flag to the supporters, I part my heart warmed up Canadian
* You've tweeted, I now blog, if you did not have the burger Viking in Catas before the game, you're missing one of the best burgers in New York Metro area. Yes, I have the corner Bistro in NYC.
