Thursday 19 and Friday 20 may, the local Organising Committee (LOC) for the upcoming FIFA World Cup ™ will put on a workshop for the preparation of pitch for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil in downtown La Maison events in Fortaleza (State Ceira). The objective of the meeting is to communicate the guidelines on the type of pitch to be used during the competition and harmonise the surfaces of games throughout the city that will host 12 tournament.
The event will get underway at 8: 30 on Thursday. Attending the seminar will be consultants step by FIFA and LOC, as well as the directors of both associations and representatives of the 12 host cities. "This seminar will be important for us to show every one of the cities that will host what will be required in terms of technology, when it comes to fixing the plots, depending on the climate in each area," said Kuhn. "FIFA technical requirements will also be highlighted, since we're trying to get the surfaces of excellent quality."
This is the first event of the official FIFA World Cup held in Fortaleza. The LOC will spread of meetings and seminars throughout the city that will host 12, so that everyone has a chance to get in the spirit of the FIFA World Cup. Other cities that have already received this year's seminar schedule are Brasília and Belo Horizonte.
