World Cup 2010 teams: Fifa ranking

Spain have retained their place as the No 1 team, ahead of Brazil, in the latest Fifa rankings for December.

England remain in ninth, but have gained points and close the gap on eighth-placed Argentina.

Chile have climbed above Ivory Coast into 15th, while Mexico go in the opposite direction, dropping two places down to 17th.
