McClung, Byrd amendment leads to Sweep city gateway Gateway City Soccer-TricitiesSports.com

GATEWAY CITY--City Gate of KRATOYS I boys and girls soccer teams.

Two qualified by battle against John in the Legion Wednesday night to finish their regular season schedule in a Clinch Mountain District seniors night with a perfect 10-0 records.

The Lady Devils (14-1, 10-0) won the Lady Trojans in the opening 8-0, the Blue Devil boys (14-0, 10-0) knocked out battle 5-2 in the second match.

Portal of the city boys and girls will host a quarterfinal match with region c runner up on 7 June.

Anna McClung, who scored three goals for increasing the total for the season 60 city portal, geared for the early 1-0 lead. Jenna Head got a utility by McClung for another score to lead the Lady Devils 2-0 which was all the scoring in the first half.

Bowen, who was a starter in the team Tennis GC over the past two years, is football talent of the final period.

"I have a great time playing Football," said Bowen. "I've enjoyed both football and ice hockey, will not change anything."

Musick Holly senior scored last goal gate of the city to end the contest. "We really work hard and have improved very much," said Musick. "We have good coaches and good leaders on the field."
