11 may-the FIFA Vice President Jack Warner today poured scorn on sensational allegations that further asked for money to build an education center in Trinidad for England 2018 World Cup bid.
In what has become arguably the biggest corruption scandal ever to hit the heart of FIFA, Warner was appointed by former Chairman Lord Triesman offer England as one of the four Executive Committee members who asked for artificial sweeteners during the campaign of bidding process.
Triesman made allegations of "improper and unethical" behaviour during a special audience 2018 as part of the parliamentary inquiry the governance of English football.
The veteran Warner, in classic mode, counter-punching, issued a strongly worded denial, Triesman hit back by calling into question its credibility.
"I have no intention to make that piece of nonsense by Triesman that undoubtedly feels that he can revive dying citing political career that piece of stupidity," were Warner's initial comment.
"I've never asked for nor any other Triesman, person, British or otherwise, for all the money for my vote at any time.
"In the English World Cup campaign, before he was unceremoniously kicked out, I spoke with Triesman, on its own initiative, only on three occasions, while on other occasions I have spoken to his colleagues and not one of his colleagues will never corroborated his little curiosity.
"I have been in FIFA for 29 years and this will amaze many I'm sure that even people like [other members England 2018] David Dein and Geoff Thompson.
"This is the last that I'm going to say about it."
Except it wasn't.
In a report released today in Trinidad, Warner unpredictable, which long had a tense relationship with England – and especially its media – went to the city by throwing the book the way England led his campaign by 2018.
"I laugh like hell because it took those guys from December until today [know] that I have 2. 5 million pounds ($ 4.1 million).
"I never asked anyone for anything.
"When these guys were here [in September], have promised to help.
Longdenville took them in, I showed them a place where they can put a playground.
"They promised to return, but they never did.
This is all about. "
Despite its facts wrong always in terms of how England spent on their offer and that the 22-Member FIFA ended up ballot instead of 24, Warner blamed Britain, which has received only two votes, sour grapes.
"What is painful that the FA has spent 19 million pounds (31 million dollars) in the attempt, 24 people in FIFA, one is from England, seven others] of them from Europe.
"Why not even one person from Europe voted for them?
"And they're looking for all different reasons.
"Because it is so, in a dispassionate way, sit back and ask why not a European voted for them?"
The administrator for a long time, the great survivor who has been in trouble before with FIFA, said he was anticipating further attacks on his character.
But his response to the latest allegations will be seen by many as a clever way of deflecting attention from its situation, well, now might be investigated by the Ethics Committee of FIFA if they believe that there is sufficient evidence to act.
Just before the presidential vote, FIFA June 1 and Warner are aware that two members of the FIFA Executive Committee have already been suspended, there is another transmission of Panorama.
"The important thing is that I believe that none of the substance really takes seriously the those guys," he continued.
"Triesman was unceremoniously removed," he said, referring to the former President is having to resign after accusing Spain and Russia, in a newspaper sting, of trying to bribe referees during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
"Where is his credibility?
"At the end of the day, I keep my head high because I stand up and tell the world that I never accepted anything.
"People who know me would be totally dismissive of that nonsense.
"[Triesman] said that Ricardo Teixeira asked him for a knighthood but Brazil doesn't have a single rider, so why should ask to be called Teixeira Sir Ricardo Teixeira, Brazil?
"This is the kind of foolishness that is necessary to understand and endure and what is painful for me."
