Flying Eagles are champions of Africa-NEXT

The flying Eagles of Nigeria Sunday emerged champions of African Youth Championship 2011 after a hard fought 3-2 victory over the Young Lions of Cameroon.

This is the sixth time the eagles fly will be crowned champions of Africa and their first title since 2005.

Olanrewaju Kayode opened scoring for Nigeria in the 75th minute before Uche Nwofor made it 2-0 four minutes later.

A series of defensive errors, however, saw the horrendous Camerounians pulling back in terms of levels through the duo of Franck Ohandza and Edgar Salli retail 82 ° and 84 respectively.
